Motorola CLIQ2 Android Phone, Smoke Grey (T-Mobile)

This is my third Android phone. I was frustrated by a touch screen keyboard. So, I skipped myTouch 4G. I did not like the G2's loose keyboard (if you hold G2 upside down, the keyboard pops out). And Cliq 2's price was very good. So, I chose this one.

Because of not so good reviews here, I was skeptic about this one. But, about a month of use, I found this is a great phone. It is a stable and the keyboard is very easy to type. A dedicated camera button and a zoom key is very handy. Picture quality is acceptable for a daily use.

Only minus point is a bit bulkier than I like (Still lighter than G2 though).

MOTOBLUR give me a good customization (Need to tweak a bit to get its full potential). I was bored with HTC's or plain Android home screen. MOTOBLUR gives me a flesh experience of using Android.

Especially, I like its Audio player. It has EQ and 3D effect. It automatically search the net and show the Lyrics of a song. This can even play music file from PC wirelessly.

Great price and great buy!

RB Motorola V3c Razr Camera Bluetooth phone for Verizon

The Verizon Wireless RAZR V3c in "orchid pink" is a great looking phone. I'm 100% girlie girl, so I had to have it. The sound is great, and it has a lot of great features. My three previous phones had been LG, so it took me a day to get used to the interface of this Motorola. Also, I've heard Verizon changed some of the features so customers have to use their Get-it-Now and V-Cast features. It would have been nice to have both options.

Also, the phone's key pad DOES NOT glow pink. In the ads and pictures it looks like it does, but nope. It's a blue backlight just like all the other RAZR phones. That's really not that big a deal, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

The camera is nice-- much better than any other I've had on any of my phones. I like the feature that allows you to close the phone and see yourself in the window while taking a picture. The video features are also great.

I bought the matching bluetooth headset, and this is my FAVORITE part. All I have to do is say call whoever, and it dials. I didn't have to program voice recognition or anything. I LOVE that.

The only disappointing thing is that you don't have the flexibility to change the color scheme. There's a Verizon red border and you can't get rid of it or customize to match your wall paper. Granted that's not a big deal, but it sure would be nice.

Other than that, it's a fabulous phone and I'm loving being Pretty In Pink! :)

Motorola Photon 4G Android Phone (Sprint)

These days it's so hard to find a smartphone that does it all meaning call reception a big #1, battery life #2, 3G & 4G(some areas) data speeds, web browsing, speaker volume & email accounts...The Photon 4G has all this working flawlessly for me unlike the Evo 3D I had and sold to get this AMAZING well built speed machine.

I live in a bad signal area where getting 4 bars at home will be a miracle :) I had the Evo 4G, Epic 4G & Evo 3D all failed to get even 3 bars in my home all I got from them was 0 to 2 bars. When talking to family over the phone I get disconnected all the time and be forced to stay by the window with my head almost sticking out just to get a strong signal...this happened on all prior phones I had, now with the Photon 4G I get an unbelievable 4 or 5 bars sometimes full with absolutely no disconnects while talking which never happened with any smartphone I purchased living here.

Everyone that I talked to hears me loud & clear and vice versa using either the bluetooth earpiece or phone itself, some say I sounded clearer when using the speaker. At work I get to test 3G & 4G where 4G towers are close by and I get very fast data speeds on 3G and of course even faster speeds on 4G, I browsed youtube, fox.com and downloaded apps with no issues at all. Web browsing on this phone is the best I ever experienced, Adobe Flash works flawlessly with the Photon 4G, flash sites that didn't work on the 3D worked perfect on the MoPho( I did not come up with this nick) lol...Wifi is very strong and downloading apps or browsing has never been faster.

Speaker volume is loud and clear unlike the 3D which was very low and sounded very cheap, battery Life is by far the best on a smartphone to date. Camera takes some nice quality pics although I think the 3D's cam was slightly better...only thing I miss from the 3D was Sense 3.0 UI which was amazing, the Photon has Motoblur or Ghostblur not sure what is called either way htc Sense 3.0 was better and I was forced to download a Launcher from the Market which made me feel a lot better not having Sense. NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core processor makes this phone very snappy with no lag...If you want a smartphone that does it all well the Photon 4G should be your choice! Oh and to end my review its also a World Phone, I call that doing it all :)

Motorola DROID X2 Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)

I recently got a droid X1 after having it a week I found out the X2 was coming out, so i quickly returned my X and a few days later got the droid X2. Having both phones, there is not a difference hardly in the looks, your accesories from X and any cases will fit the X2. The main difference in appearance is the X2 on back and they removed the red camera button(now you only can use the touch screen, no biggie.). The changes were mainly in the power and picture. X2 is now running a dual core processor the first for verizon phones instead of single core. The scrren is a qhd with higher resolution for better pics and videos. My favorite is the mirror mode, so while your on amazon you might as well buy the motorola hdmi cord and playback 1080p videos on your flat screen or play games like your phone is the controller. SWEET! All in all, if you own the droid X already you may not justify the upgrade, however if you loved your X1, you will also love the droid x2. If you are like me and like to protect your phone I might add that the X2 did away with the car dock manual option, so if you use a case it will probally not fit in the motorola car dock unless you remove it each time to put the phone in car dock mode, contacted motorola about this and they said only way is dont use a case so it fits in dock to trigger mode, other than that the phone is excellent for surfing and pic clarity. NO front facing camera or 4G, but really who wants the front camera, so everyone wont bother me with skyping, and until 2012 or 2013 the 4g wont be everywhere unless you are in a big city. Hope this helps and happy phone hunting!

Motorola DROID 3 Global Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)

Speedy and Snappy - The droid-3 is rippin fast. In fact, it surprises me that the droid-3 is notably faster than my Xoom, which is allegedly using the same dual core processor. Perhaps they did some nice software updates in between, or perhaps it's something else, but the droid-3 is REALLY snappy both in apps and the Browser. In fact, it's the first android phone I've used that feels like it has a 'snappy' browser, even for typing into web fields.

Screen is workable - I like the droid-3 4" screen size over the 3.7" droid-1 screen, but the visual quality on the droid-1 screen is obviously higher. That's partly because the droid-1 screen was a smaller version of the same resolution, which made it look a little crisper, and partly because the droid-3 uses a new PenTile screen technology that basically has fewer little-tiny dots (subpixels) at the same resolution. With normal size fonts, the droid-3 screen is gorgeous, but when text is at the edge of readable, it doesn't look so great. Put differently, if you size a webpage to be just barely readable on the droid-1's 3.7" screen, and then put that same set of pixels onto the droid-3, it's less readable on d3 despite being larger. The forums are filled with controversy about the moto PenTile (RGBW). My bottom line is that I wish they used a higher-dpi display, but it won't stop me from enjoying the droid-3 over the droid-1. In exchange for the slight loss of visual quality and crispness, we get a larger display which makes occasionally using the virtual keyboard much easier. Also note that most of these 4.2" displays are not any higher resolution, though AFAIK the Thunderbolt and Galaxy S II both use crisper RGB-RGB panels.

Phone call quality is excellent - From the few calls I made today, it didn't seem any different than my droid-1 in call quality, which has been excellent. I haven't tested the speakerphone yet.

Skip the Dock - I've been using the droid-1 dock every night to charge my phone and never had any issue with it. The droid-3 dock seems badly designed and not worth using in my opinion. Because it has both USB and HDMI connectors, the droid-3 doesn't smoothly slide on and off the dock. It has to be pushed on and pryed off. I have to actually hold the dock when I pull the two apart. This sort of defeats the purpose for me, wheras with the droid-1 I just dropped the phone onto the dock and snatched it off. It doesn't help that the droid-1 dock was weighted and the droid-3 dock is featherweight plastic, but the hdmi connector is the real issue. If there was a heavyweight USB-only droid-3 dock that worked more like the droid-1 dock, I'd buy that.

A little harder to one-hand than droid-1 - The combination of the larger size, the power button placement, and the power button firmness makes it harder to 'one hand' activate and use the phone. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it's nowhere near as perfect as my droid-1 was. I also don't like motoblur forcing us to double-swipe unlock - once for the standard swipe unlock, once for my swipe password. Stock android allows you to use only the swipe unlock... which I much prefer. Hopefully Motorola will eventually unlock the bootloader for those of us that prefer stock android.

Jury is still out on battery life. If my first day and the forum posts are any indication, the stock battery will probably be slightly shorter than the droid-1/2. I have heard some say that the speedy CPU and bigger screen can really chew through battery if you play games. It's nice that there is also an available extended battery for those that need more juice -- and it still keeps the phone pretty slim.

Motorola Atrix 4G Android Phone (AT&T)

I've been an iPhone user ever since the first iPhone and upgraded to every version of an iPhone, every other year I would upgrade at full price. What I can tell you is I've had the Atrix for only a few days and the customization that you can do with Android phones is Incredible.

I'll try and list what I like about it;
You can customize widgets to your home screen to display a mini version of your most used programs, I use it like a preview without having to open the program.

There is a bar across the top of the phone that has all the phone notifications.

I use the Finger print recognition to unlock the phone which I find it to be much faster than entering a code, there is a code backup just in case something happens to the fingerprint reader or if you are wearing gloves.

Downloading and Installing applications is faster than any phone I've ever used. There are a lot of Free apps on the Android Market that are paid apps on the App Store.

The best analogy I can tell you is; This phone is like a custom race car, It will take a few days to customize, but once you do, it's like nothing you've ever driven before.
